“ The food is very, very good. But some of what we had was unevenly reheated. And the seating is sparse. However, would gladly come by again for takeout. The prices and variety are pretty good and it is good to know almost everything is made in-house. ”
“ Beignets just as good as the French Quarter. It's not on the menu, but they also have regular brewed medium-dark roast coffee if you ask. Lots of pastries and baked goods, including ham and cheese croissant. They also have shrink-wrapped cooked corn on the cob for some reason. ”
“ Pate chaud: AMAZING!!! I've had a fair share from other places and this place takes the crown! 10/10! BBQ Pork banh mi: 8/10. Would've been great if the pate was added. Tons of meat. ”
“ Stopped by to pick up dinner for myself since the Mrs was visiting relatives this evening. I got grilled chicken with sweet sticky rice for $3.50 and 3 spring rolls for $4. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty and the peanut/hoisin sauce was excellent. But the best bite was the chicken and rice combo. The saltiness and charcoaled smokiness of the chicken worked so well with the sweet sticky rice. $7.50 before tax of this meal is a deal I gladly will do again. ”
“ Parisian is my go to for French baguettes. They sell frozen pâté in a variety of sizes that go great with the bread. There's a ton of items to purchase but the pork pâté chaud are pretty top notch. Not skimpy on the meat and a nice buttery flaky crust. They are open for grab and go with markers on the ground for social distancing as well as a plastic divider between you and the cashier. ”
“ I have long been a devoted customer of Parisian Bakery & Cafe. I have probably been to every banh mi spot in the city (i.e. Don Cafe, Lee's Sandwiches, Les Givral's Sandwich & Cafe, Les Givral's Kahve, Nguyen Ngo, Oui Banh Mi, Thim Hing Bakery, Thiem Hung Bakery, etc.). I know what you're thinking right now. You probably thought I used "every" for emphasis, but I'm so serious about my banh mi. You don't want stale, sub-par bread, and you don't want over-doughy, cottony bread either... and I'm not going to bake the baguette myself. With Parisian Bakery & Cafe, you'll get a great banh mi every time! My husband and I always opt for the "Buy 5 Get 1" deal. In one sitting, I will eat one, and my husband will eat two. We end up having two leftover and eat it as a pre-dinner snack or a light dinner. There's tons of different meats/combos to choose from, so experiment away! Parisian's banh mi is such a delicate balance of sweet, savory, sour, spicy, warm, cold, and varying textures. You've got your bread, fresh chili, cilantro, pickled carrots and daikon, salt pepper, mayonnaise, and meat/other feeling. If you don't want something included in your banh mi - or if you don't want it cut in half - make sure you tell them as you order before they start assembling your tasty banh mi (right in front of you). What are you waiting for? Go try it for yourself! ”
